Reality TV Stars raise money to re-open a shelter closed due to inhumane conditions and dead/sick dogs

Meet Reality Rescue Festival Organizer April Mueller

Written By: Detection - Mar• 04•12

Reality Rescue Festival is Organized by April Mueller from Virginia.

Mueller’s past is a troubled one, with over a dozen run-ins with the law in the last 10 years, with a total of over $5,000 in fines, court costs and judgments.  Mueller has been ordered to pay judgments in a number of cases  by a number of different groups (GV06000138-00, GV10000213-00, GV02000136-00GV03000446-00), including one case (GV11000455-00) that took place DURING the 2011 event fundraising!   That’s something that charity donors should know.

We may have only scratched the surface of Mueller’s legal issues – we only ran a criminal and court history for the courts within a few miles of her Virginia home.

While it’s troubling that someone with a history of legal problems is in charge of handling and accounting for money intended for charity, what’s most interesting about Mueller’s background is that violations include 2 convictions on charges by Animal Control, including one case (CR04000040-00) that resulted in a $634 fine with court costs.  That’s a very significant violation, and perhaps explains her connection to Jeffrey Bennett, who also has been fined by Animal Control.

When challenged to back up a statement with fact, Mueller is prone to emotional temper tantrums and cannot control her urge to respond to any question with person insults.  When disturbing facts about Southern Comfort Rescue began to emerge, rather than research the issue she chose to orchestrate attacks on the people who brought the information to light.

Honesty is a not a virtue known to Mueller, which is not surprising after reading the long list of court actions against her.  As time allows, we’ll create a page of absolute lies and fabrications Mueller passing on to realty stars, fans, sponsors, and donors.

Mueller has just lost yet another court case, and will need to pay out yet another judgement to the victim.
